“Ariel! You look lovely.”

Angel turned where he stood, his skirt swishing around his calves. He could feel the wig move against his back. Lucifer was standing there, dressed as a clown. Cute.

“Thanks. That one’s only right tonight though.”

“You looking lovely?”

“‘Ariel’. I always look lovely.”

“Then why is it correct?”

Angel brushed his wig over his shoulder. “Ya don’t know The Little Mermaid?”

“The book?”

“I’ll show ya the movie later.”

He wrapped his arms around Lucifer, lifting him off the ground, holding him close. “Dance with me?”

Lucifer’s laugh was warm. “I’m already in your arms, so I don’t see why not.”

Angel held him tighter.

“Perfect.”
